What We Know About The Upcoming Lindsay Lohan Movie

The long wait for Lindsay Lohan's official comeback is almost over. Once an iconic Disney star, Lohan's issues with drugs and alcohol impacted her career significantly. Lohan has officially joined the Netflix family to the joy of many elder Millenials. 

Her Christmas movie is due for release at the end of 2022. Here is your rundown of what she's been up to in recent years and what we know so far about her upcoming movie. 

What has Lindsay Lohan Been Doing Lately?

• She dabbled with television. She joined cast Rupert Grant and Nick Frost for season 2 of "Sick Note". The season premiered on Sky One in 2018, later becoming available on Netflix.

• She became a club owner. The first of these ventures was in 2016, partnering with Greek restaurateur Dennis Papageorgiou to open "Lohan at Iera Odos". In 2018 she opened two more establishments, "Lohan Beach House Mykonos" and "Lohan Beach House Rhodes."

• She returned to the world of reality tv. "Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club" ran for one season in 2019 and highlighted the operation of her club in Mykonos. In July of the same year, she became a panel judge for the Australian Masked Singer. Due to the pandemic, she could not travel back into the country for season 2 in July 2020. 

• She became a manager for her little sister, Ali Lohan. Ali was meant to come with Lindsay to Australia in 2020 to work on new music. Due to the pandemic, this wasn't able to happen, instead quarantined together in Dubai. Apart from appearing in "Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club", Ali hasn't been a part of any acting or singing projects but is still actively modelling.

• She worked on her music. April 2020, Lohan released a new single called "Back to Me".
• She is developing her podcast. In October 2021, Variety reported that Lohan is working with Studio 71 to produce her first podcast. 
• She was featured in the Superbowl! In 2022 she was in a series of Planet Fitness commercials featured during the Superbowl.

In 2020, Lindsay moved back to the US after living overseas for almost a decade. She has lived in both London and Dubai. The move has made her more open and available for projects such as her Superbowl commercials.
