Speaking at Awesome Con, Hayley Atwell has revealed no current plans for either Agent Carter or Captain Carter to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
MCU fans were first introduced to Peggy Carter in 2011's Captain America: The First Avengers. Since then, her character has evolved in multiple prominent projects, including main MCU films, Marvel's What If...? and ABC's Agent Carter. Most recently, she appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as a variant form of Captain America.
When asked if either Agent Carter or Captain Carter will return in upcoming Marvel projects, Atwell revealed that there are no future plans within the MCU. She continued to express her pride in playing the character and her desire to expand the secondary character into her own project.
